By accessing or using b4ugo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including browsers, registered users, and contributors of content.
2. Description of Service
b4ugo is a collaborative shopping list application that allows users to create, manage, and share shopping lists in real time. Features include barcode scanning for product lookup, smart category organization, household sharing, and cross-device synchronization. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated or modified at any time.
3. User Accounts
To use most features of b4ugo, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create within the app, including shopping lists, product names, and notes. By using the Service, you grant b4ugo a limited license to store, display, and synchronize your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your shared household members.
You agree not to use the Service to store or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringes on the rights of others.
5. Sharing and Collaboration
When you share a list with another user, you grant that user read and write access to the items on that list. You are responsible for managing who has access to your lists. b4ugo is not responsible for actions taken by users you have granted access to your lists.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
- Upload malicious software or content
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
7. Intellectual Property
The b4ugo name, logo, app design, and all related materials are the intellectual property of b4ugo. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements without prior written permission.
8. Advertisements
The Service may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other third-party ad networks. These ads help us keep the Service free. By using the Service, you consent to the display of advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, b4ugo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, binding arbitration.
